All Dobsonian telecopes are made of high quality Garant Okoume plywood. This type of plywood is moisture resistant, has a great wood finish and a fine wood structure. Plywood is relatively hard and therefore not easy to damage.
The telescopes are assembled with a mirror cell, secondary mirror holder, spider, secondary mirror heater (when the optics are placed by Sumerian Optics) and delivered in the desired colour. In addition, all components such as optics, focuser and view finder will be assembled free of charge.
Propus
The “Propus Classic” is a redesigned version of the original Dobsonian Travel Telecope designed by Pierre Strock. The dimensions of the “Propus Classic” can be delivered with a 10" to 12" mirror.
